School Council

"Being Head girl is a huge responsibility as well as being great fun. As head girl I have to be a great role model, I know that I have to do the right thing all of the time. I enjoy helping everyone in school and making sure that they are happy.

I have worked closely with Bradley (Head Boy) this year and we have been out and about being ambassadors for our school.  Being Head girl is great fun and a brilliant experience. "

"Being Head boy is the best thing that can happen to you in school... Why? Let me tell you. First, you develop a great relationship with the Head teacher. I get to work closely with her and I know that my views are listened to."
" Being part of school council is a big responsibility. As chair person it is up to me to ensure that the meetings stay on track. I know that I represent the pupil's voice and as such I want to make as much of a difference as possible. Being part of school council is really satisfying to see the decisions we help to make put smiles on pupil's faces. This year we have been set a challenge from Thorns Community College to try to turn £10 into as much money as possible, we are well on the way with this challenge and plan to have lots more fund raising events this year."
