78% of our year one children achieved the required standard in this years’ Phonics Screening Test (National 79%)
100% of the 9 Year 2 children who re-took the Phonics screening test this year achieved the required standard. This means that 100% of the year two cohort (28) are now working at or above the required standard
Scheme
The teaching of phonics follows Ruth Miskin RWI programme. Children are taught in targeted groups in Reception and Key Stage One.
