Under the current guidelines all children from Reception to Year 2 are automatically entitled for free meals under the new 'Universal Infant Free School Meals' criteria. From September, when your child enters Year 3 this entitlement comes to an end. However, if you are receipt of certain benefits you may be entitled to claim Free School Meals.
