We have been spreading the love and raising awareness in Brierley Hill Primary school!
Monday 13th November was world kindness day and the start of antibullying week.
Throughout school we completed a variety of activities to 'make some noise' and raise awareness of bullying, the most obvious change we made was wearing odd socks for the day!
Some classes listened to a variety of difficult scenarios, thought about how people would feel in different situations and then held a debate about reactions to each.
Our younger children completed paint mixing activities and recognised that, together we are better!
World kindness day started with a whole school assembly hosted by the team at 'school of kindness'. We then made our learning come alive by giving out kindness vouchers!!
We ALWAYS need to remember, in a world where you can be anything, be kind!
