International Space week ran from Wednesday 4th - Tuesday 10th October this year and we were all ready to blast off into our learning to mark the occasion.
Years 1 to 6 had the chance to explore outer space with a visit from the team at Professor Bubbleworks. Through VR technology the children had the chance to explore a space station, experience a moon landing, and zoom amongst the planets in our solar system.
Feedback from the children was particularly good - especially from a boy in Year 2 who said: "I got to press the buttons in the space station!" and another who explained: "You could see all the way around Jupiter and the big red spot!"
